Choices for your Continuing Professional Development as an Integrative Colon Hydrotherapist

Courses and workshopsAs a member of the International Association and Register of Integrative Colon Therapists and Trainers you have undertaken to commit at least 30 hours per year to continuing professional development. Below is a selection of exhibitions, courses and workshops that are available and suitable for your professional development. Of course, you can choose other courses and events that are of interest to you. We accept your CPD courses if they help you in the following areas of your professional and personal growth:

Advanced Certificate in Colon Hydrotherapy

The first compulsory module will take place on Monday 27th November

Course Pre-requisites
Course participant must have been practising Colon
Hydrotherapy for a minimum of 1 year.

This certificate will consist of one compulsory module plus
any five of the following modules:

  • Food Allergies and Intolerance
  • Detoxing
  • Fermenting Foods and Fasting
  • Business and Digital Marketing
  • Treating clients with cancer, the elderly or disabilities
  • Nutrition – Cancer
  • IBS
  • Laxatives
  • Energy Medicine
  • Herbal Medicine
  • Women’s Health
  • Supplementation
  • Colon Hydrotherapy for Colon Disorders
  • Candida Albicans
  • Dissection Day
  • Relative Contraindications
  • Independent Book Review with case studies
  • Colon Reflexis

These optional units can be either studied as part of the Advanced Practitioners Certificate or attended as a stand-alone CPD course. But the
compulsory unit must be completed as part of the Advanced Practitioners Certificate.

Colon Reflexis Course

Distance Learning CPD Course

Colon Reflexis is a simple technique that is integrated into a colon hydrotherapy treatment

By learning the technique and sequence of Colon Reflexis you can:

  1. Promote the body’s own healing mechanism
  2. Assist the colon to eliminate
  3. Encourage clients to be actively involved
  4. Encourage a partnership between client and therapist
  5. Reduce stress levels in anxious clients
  6. Pass the skill on to clients to carry out at home as part of the post treatment advice.

There is also the opportunity to attend a one day work shop which complements the course, it will focus on the practical aspects of using reflex points to promote health and well being. This is NOT compulsory to the course. There will be a charge for the One Day workshop.

On completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of competence confirming that you have successfully passed the course along with 15 C.P.D. hours

There are eight modules to the course, that cover the basic knowledge base, this will give you the tools required to integrate Colon Reflexes into your practice.

There will be Knowledge Gainers self assessment questions at the conclusion of each module for you to answer

After completion of the eight modules you will be required to submit three case studies along with an extended essay of 1,000 to 2,000 words.

Course cost of £225 to include the manual, quart crystal point and USB stick with course contents
