RICTAT Registration Number: 2013-67

Elaine StephensonMy name is Elaine Stephenson and I have practiced Colon Hydrotherapy at Whitelands Clinic in Morecambe since 2007.

I have been a Registered Nurse since 1984 and spent most of my career in acute medicine. Becoming a Clinical Leader in acute surgery opened my eyes to the ill-health of the nation’s colons! Already being interested in Complementary Medicine, colon hydrotherapy was recommended to me for detoxing and I’ve never looked back! My ‘bad back’ and my husband’s migraines are a thing of the past. I was so impressed that I decided that I needed to train to be a therapist. The effectiveness of this treatment still astounds me, even after years of practice!

I still work part-time in A & E at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary; it keeps me on my toes and helps me see all sides of health!

In 2001 I qualified as a Reiki Practitioner and later trained to be a Kundalini Yoga teacher in 2008, a practice for life! I also offer remedial massage using the i-pamper machine for a deep tissue treatment.Currently I am studying a course in Ayurvedic Nutrition and hope to continue these studies so as to use them as a practitioner.

Being able to educate people about their physiology, nutrition, detoxing and enabling them to live a healthier, happy life drives my enthusiasm for my work.
